Mr. Cheng Chak Kuen, Chairman of Dongguan Xingye Trade Development Company Limited, his daughter Miss Cheng Chiu Kwan, and Mr. Bill Cheung, Secretary-General of the Religious Society Hong Kong Center of China, visited the University on 15 May 2018. They were warmly received by Dr. Zhu Mengwen, Postdoctoral Fellow of the Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology, and were showcased the Academy’s latest developments in academic research and activities on Sinology.
Mr. Gao Hong and Mr. Zhang Zikang, Chairman of the Academy Council and Director of the Art Museum respectively of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, together with Mr. Zhang Chun Sheng and Mr. Yang Bin, Deputy General Manager and Director of Public Affairs respectively of Bauhinia Magazine; as well as Ms. Chloe Suen, Co-Chairman of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Chair of the Simon Suen Foundation, visited the Academy on 24 October 2018, and enjoyed the precious artworks by Professor Jao Tsung-i of the Fourth Exhibition in the “Scholarship and Culture” Series — Unfettered Spirit, Utter Liberation: Selected Artworks by Professor Jao Tsung-i.
Dr. Li Zhaoxing, Former Foreign Minister of PRC and Founding President of China Public Diplomacy Association, visited the Academy on 30 October 2018, and enjoyed the precious artworks by Professor Jao Tsung-i of the Fourth Exhibition in the “Scholarship and Culture” Series — Unfettered Spirit, Utter Liberation: Selected Artworks by Professor Jao Tsung-i.
